Day 711--Somebody's Life Story

I got started three-minutes late, which annoyed me. It was not cold, but it was dark and I forgot my reflectors. I listened to music for the first couple of miles, but then turned it off to listen to the birds and my breathing; however, I heard more cars than birds. I saw a guy with a beard and a white truck speed through my little subdivision and I thought, where is he going so quickly at this time? Work or some nefarious location?  I saw the dark clouds move over the moon. I saw the neon signs still on at Danno’s; even though, the bar has been closed for almost a year now. Then I realized I was running slow, so I ran hard for the last five-minutes trying to make up for loss time. Before I turned in to go home I thought, everyday is somebody’s life story. That thought made me feel like I was a part of something bigger than me.
