Day 2,894 —More Geese— with a PICTURE of a TREE on a HILL #678

There was only two of them, and they were looking at me. I moved over to the grass giving them the path. They stopped staring and began walking. I was amazed how gentle they were moving and not hissing.

Then, an older man came along looking confused by my deference for the geese, and he passed closed to them, and gestured towards them. They turned and hissed a warning.

I wonder if they know they are protected. They can go anywhere, and no one can hurt them or try to capture them. I have always liked their willingness to be unapologetically themselves. Not that they need my permission.
