Day 3053—Almost Normal — with a PICTURE of WHITE FLOWERS

I was thinking how I would love to run a 100-mile race around Saint Louis. I would connect all the green ways and river ways together as much as I could without having to go back on anything, make it one big loop. I want that to happen.

I felt pretty good today during my run, only the blister were keeping me back from being completely okay. They look a lot better, but I am guessing I will have to keep running on the sides of my feet for the next few days..

That’s okay. I am happy about all the lessons I was able to learn doing the Shawnee Hills 100, and I will have to figure out a better footcare system in the future. I learned that there is a big difference from ignoring blisters for 24 hours compared to 29 hours. I will have to experiment and figure out the best ways to prevent this from happening next time.
