Day 3,041 —Taking Detours— with a PICTURE of a DUCK

Maybe, I will keep my hair long and keep shaving, or I might cut it short and start wearing glasses again. I am not sure what I want to do, or what I want to look like, but I want to make a major change to how I look again. 

This morning I remember thinking about not having a lot of time and going through my schedule in my mind. I spent all day getting to know my new teachers. And, I really like them all. It is nice to get to know so many friendly genuine people. I am really looking forward to working with them. 

         I got a good feeling about this school year. Dare I suggest that education is getting ready for a comeback? 

         I told this to one of my teachers, but every teacher that stuck with it really deserve to hear it: “thank you for not quitting and doing something else. You decided to focus on helping young people, and that was more important to you than what others thought of you and how much money you made. Thank you for still being here!” And thank you to all the new teachers that just started. I am looking forward to seeing what you can do.”
