Day 3,395—After the World Cup—

I didn’t realize the game was going on until I looked at the news and saw the US and Sweden were in overtime. It is unfortunate that we didn’t end up pulling it off, but it was one of the most exciting games I have ever seen. 

I started my run afterward while listening to music and wearing my vest carrying 2 liters of water. I saw a deer that wasn’t afraid of humans, but it was difficult to stop to take a picture. I didn’t realize I was running toward my swan friend until I was almost there. I stopped and said hi, but the swan was sitting across the pond under tree branches. It does seem like the other one might be gone because this is the second time I have only seen one swan there. When I turned to go back home, a deer ran across the path and jumped the fence, heading towards the swan.
