Day 3,403—Webs in the Dark—

  Woke up before my alarm went off, went running in the dark, ran into spider webs, and wondered if spiders made their webs after the rain or before. I was picturing a spider plotting to catch their prey during the rain. Maybe they hide close or make a bunch of webs, and then go back to check on them the next day.

         That’s something that is always true but that I rarely remember—when running on a trail, plan on spider webs.
