Day 3,526 —Happy Last day of Hanukkah!—

    As I ran, I decided to go the opposite way that I usually go, turning down Laclede and then up Watson. It is surprising how different the same places seem when you’re coming at them from a different direction. 

    It feels like it should be later in December. All I see on the news are 2023 recaps and the best of the list for the year. December is just about halfway over! And, I still have to go to work next week. But that is okay because I still don’t have class and have less work to do than I have since the summer. I don’t know what to do with my time. JK! I have two children. I have been having so much more fun playing Legos with my daughter. She put together a tree by herself yesterday by following the directions! She was so proud of herself. 

I hope she remembers this Hanukkah forever. My son just loves hanging out with me. He bounces with joy when he sees me.
