Day 3,606 —a Plan for Training—

I have been thinking a lot about trying to get a 50-mile run in a few weeks before the Ozark 100. There is this run next weekend that is 12 hours. I was debating going to do, but I think I have finally decided what to do. I am off work on the 15th of March, so I am going to somehow do a two-part 50 + plus mile day. Likewise, I am thinking I either start early, take a break, and then run at night, or run a trail marathon on Thursday night, go home, and run another marathon mid-morning. I think it would benefit me to train on the trail during the hardest times of the race (late at night and the next morning).

It would also be nice to run a trail marathon next weekend too.
