Day 2,726 —Thirty Green Eyes in the Dark— with my PICTURE of a WHITE FLOWERING TREE

I could not tell you what the name is of this tree. I was looking at pictures right now trying to figure it out. I wish I knew the names of trees better. I should figure out a practical way to do that.

I felt compelled to go adventuring today, running over the train tracks into the cemetery on the other side. I knew I was going to see deer before I saw my first group, a dozen green eyes looking up at me, and then they scattered slowly in all directions, most were going to my right, but some looked bewildered and slowly moved the other way.

As I continued, I kept seeing more groups of deer. A couple there after another group of four.

Going back through the once Rothman’s parking lot, I see a high hill of broken up concrete, and a path cut out for the ten-foot pipe that sits waiting to be placed.

It is sad in a way to see the place truly changed.
