Day 2,743 —Pumpkin Patches Out— with my PICTURE of a PATH to the TRAIN TRACK with LENS FLARE
A church off East Adams Road had a few hundred pumpkins arranged in various ways. Little children were running through a small maze, and I saw a few other activities for kids.
I remember taking a picture of the sign of that church last year, but they did not have the usual event, but it was packed today. So many people in downtown Kirkwood too. We have not bought a pumpkin. It will be Halloween soon. It seems like it has been taking forever for this year to get going, but now that it is I am somehow not ready for it. My daughter played with Legos for the first time today. She has been so fascinated by the bookstore set that I have been putting together.
We have been slow to get going on Halloween stuff this year as well. We finally decided on some costumes a couple days ago though. Pumpkining is planned for tomorrow. I'm okay with not spending the whole month celebrating one day though. It makes those fewer days a little more special.
