Day 2,742 —Confused with a Flower— with my PICTURE of a PATH to the TRAIN TRACK
to see what it was. I was scared it might be an insect that I would find attached to my foot, but I thought it was possible that I was feeling the pain because of something else going on in my foot. I looked and reached at the same time and there was a bee attached to the side of my foot on the spot where I could see my bright striped, yellow socks.
I felt bad when I realized what had happened. He must have seen the bright color and naturally was attracted to it. I thought back on a time that I was sitting outside doing work on my laptop and drinking a LaCroix LimonCello and a bee flew up to my can. The drink does not have any sugar just sparkling water and natural essence (which you can read about in detail, if curious, by doing some internet searching). He was attracted to the color of the can and flew close to it many times over a five-minute period; however, he realized the can was not a flower and flew away.
The pain is already growing faint, but I will rethink wearing bright colors in the future.
