Day 3235 —in the Storm—
My phone said it was raining, but I hadn’t heard any rain, yet when I opened the door, it flung open by the force of the wind and the rain flew sideways into my face.
Twenty-minute later I was looking up at a train and wondering why it was moving so slow and enjoying the wind pushing me through the streets as I dodged puddles forming on the ground.
I turned off my light for a while and just enjoyed feeling alone in the dark. Part of me always wishes I could bottle up these experiences and put them in a cabinet, so I might enjoy them when I have more time to process.
