Day 3057 —Early Morning Half— with a PICTURE of a BRIGHT BURNT SUNFLOWER
I feel asleep early when I was playing Spider-Man with my daughter. When I woke up it was almost midnight, and I was wide awake, so I went for a run.
I started feeling a little. I was breathing too hard, and not feeling the lightness in my stride. I slowed down and focused on taking as many steps as possible.
I took Grant’s trail to Kirkwood and ran by the Magic House. The streets were empty, and it started raining. I wandered around by the Kaldi’s taking some pictures of the old courthouse. I went home through Webster and thought about meeting my wife for the first time in the dorm rooms over there off Edgar. It doesn’t seem that long ago. It was raining so hard by time I got back home, I was soaked.
I finally was able to figure out how to group my races together on my webpage. Now, you can go straight to my epic long races. It seems every time I do an ultra-run, I have some type of story to tell about all that happened on that day. Tell me what you think of my stories. And thank you everyone who comment on my recent runs. Thank you so much for your kind words: they are so meaningful to me.
