Day 3078 —I am Glad I made It— with a PICTURE of a RAINY DAY
I ran in the city today and noticed the houseless population wasn’t by the river. I went over to Francis Park, and they had signs advertising for an Art Day tomorrow. A lot of people were out walking their dogs or just sitting outside taking in the day.
I went towards my house heading through Afton and couldn’t wait to get home. Going out seeing everyone enjoying the weather makes me want to immediately take my family out and do something fun.
I meant to go out running last night but went to bed instead and then put off running all morning. I first did chores around the house, and I eventually mowed my lawn. My daughter was dressing up like a butterfly and running around outside.
I have been listening to this book about Saint Louis. And at the end it talked about this local black business owner who was continually harassed by the city. I didn’t end well for anyone, but now we have a Wal-Mart in Kirkwood.
