Day 2,487 —a Fridge in the Snow— (a Sunrise and a Prayer)

My day started a little after one when my daughter woke up and wanted to get up. She cried off and on for an hour as my wife and I took turns holding her and comforting her. She was back asleep at 2:30, so I got up.
As soon as I stepped outside in the peacefulness of the early morning, it seemed so bright because of the snow, and the scenery seemed abundantly still. Yet, there was many cars on the road during my journey. Many other travelers braving this dangerous yet tranquil morning; I will remember this day.
