Day 2,500 –a Warmer Day— ( Downtown Webster and Statues in the Sun)

I slept in over the weekend, so I knew 3 a.m., would get here earlier than it usually does. It is helpful to have three cats that are wide awake greet me pleading to be fed. It was so nice to not have to wear layers or worry about slipping in the ice. I ran down Watson all the way to Elm, so many places I have still never stepped into. There is a used car place that looks predatory with its signs, “No Credit Check!” and “Lease to Own.” How can a place that should be so familiar still always seem so strange, so distant, so far away? And it is not like things have suddenly changed for the worse.

Happy Monday, here is to another day of quietly being alive!
