Day 3,001 —Directions on Signs— with a PICTURE ROCK HEAD #773
When I was seven, my dad, and my older brother used to do an exercise circuit like this one (from my picture) at Kirkwood park. Now whenever I see this one, I think of a morning filled with running to station to station and learning how to check my pulse to calculate my heart rate for the first time. Those mornings were overflowing with energy.
I remember being so happy on those mornings. Much of my life I have consistently done some type of workout on Saturday mornings. Maybe this is part of the reason why. Now, it just seems like the thing you do.
I need to start doing more regular morning workouts with my daughter (she is almost 3 after all). She has so much fun doing anything with me. I was trying to teach her how to stretch this week. She didn’t exactly master all the stretches, but she thought it was so fun to stand on one leg while holding the other leg! Which is a good starting point.
I am looking forward to the Get Your Butt Kicked @ Route 66 tomorrow! I don’t know how much I’ll do, but I know I’ll have fun.
