Day 3,012 —Forgetting the Comparison— with a PICTURE of PINK FLOWERS #784
I am arguably in the best shape of my life, yet I struggled to run 4 miles at a 10-minute pace. As I started to get frustrated, I laughed at how hard this “easy” run was today. Remembering some advice, I gave someone else, “when it gets hard you focus on doing the same effort and time, but fewer miles.” Yet, I suggested that these days were in a way better because they offered a more efficient workout.
So, it was good run.
