Day 3,017 —Close to Denver—
I flew in with my team from work this morning. We were too early to check in to our rooms, so we went into the city to get some lunch.
Everyone was relaxing, and I was
starting to, but something was holding me back . . . what could it be? Is it possibly,
because I have not run yet today?
Went back to the room on my own to go
for a run. I probably ran a little faster than I meant to, but I had a good
time. I just went straight as far as I could for almost five-miles. It was so
lovely! Rarely am I running in a place that is so flat that I can look out and
see so much. Where I am staying, it appears that ever area surrounding me has
been marked for some type of construction.
The ground gives off a kind of energy
that glows with the anticipation for all the future developments. Strangest
thing I saw was this sign that said 17.5 speed limit. Is this a joke I am not getting?
Why do we need .5? Loved see the planes fly over me too. Looking forward to a
sunrise picture tomorrow.
*I just realized that I will not be
able to edit old pictures why I am here and post them on my blog. Oh well, I
will survive. I will edit more when I get home. At least I am getting some good
pictures here!
