Day 3,437—Running in Glasses II—
It was so nice not to feel the need to put my contacts on this morning. They seemed to get dark so gradually, so my brain wasn’t registering that I was seeing through dark glasses, and I kept thinking how it must be late in the afternoon or there was a storm coming.
I made it through the back way of Whitecliff Park; I always have a hard time finding that section from the road, but it is pleasant because you make it through the park without going through any of the high-traffic areas. There is also a great hill, which I have been clocking in my mind when I find it, just thinking of spots where I will want to train more in preparation for my next trail 100.
