Day 3,446—Family of Deer—

There were five of them. There were two on the trail and three in the trees to my left when I was facing the deer. It is easy to count them because you can see the eyes so clearly. They didn’t move, and I started walking once I saw the deer. A few began to scatter as I got closer. I tried to get a video of the group, but it was always dark when I looked at my camera, so I kept looking at the deer, trying to prevent them from getting scared and running away.
