Day 3,448—Miles to go Before I Sleep—
The refrain comes back to me whenever I need a reminder. During Shawnee Hill, I started to say it to myself over and over again, even when I couldn’t remember the entire poem. And miles to go before I sleep, /And miles to go before I sleep. / The woods are lovely, dark and deep, / But I got promises to keep, / And I got miles to go before I sleep.
I want to put the line on t-shirts and posters. I want to print the poem on pillows and blankets.
It is the answer to questions . . . because I have promises to keep, And miles to go . . .
