Day 3,438—First mile—

I ran as fast as I could that first mile for as long as I could pay attention. I don’t know if I would count it as ALL OUT, but it was close. Whenever I made it to a higher trafficked area on Watson, I slowed down because I was distracted by cars.

After the first mile, I restricted my stride as much as possible. I felt like my breathing and form relaxed, and I was able to focus, but my watch showed my heart rate didn’t change much.

I tried not to think about it, but I couldn’t move on to running hard again because my heart rate never significantly dropped.

*still running in glasses and enjoying it.
