Day 3,307 —Checking out the Sunrise Spectacular—

I left at the exactly right time to enjoy the sun’s first rays as I headed east towards the train tracks. I saw few others out as I ran along the road, but suddenly I heard a sound of music not too far off. Once I crossed the street, I saw that it was a group of people exercising with gym equipment as they jammed out to tunes.

I was too far away for anyone to notice me, but I got the vibe from across the street. Next, I went to my favorite spot by the water, and I noticed the log had been moved and was now placed in the water close to the shore.

I sat on my new favorite fallen tree and listened to the birds and the bugs, and… – yeah, I can still hear that music from here.

As I thought about the experience, I recognized the addition of the far-off music was only enhancing the complexity of what I was hearing.
