Day 3,325 —Wait for it—

I had every reason to think I would be able to start my run earlier in the day and possibly run as much as ten miles, but life had other plans for today. At least my lawn looks nicer because of it. I mowed the lawn and my in-laws mulched and watered the flower bed. By the time I started my run, I had already been outside for a good three hours. I am trying not to complain.

I had missed the pond yesterday, so I knew I would need to go there at some point. I started heading down the road across the street, but three cars passed me within the first tenth of a mile. I turned around and went back to the main road. I thought it was ironic that I usually only ran over there to get away from the cars. It feels weird being off work. I need to sign up for the next run I plan to do, so I can start focusing on that again.

I didn’t run a ton this week considering I did that race this past weekend, but next week I need to get in at least one decent long run, if not two. I hope I get a bike ride in as well. I got a new bike seat, and I haven’t been able to try it yet.
