Day 3,327 —Green Pond—

I was still thinking about this essay I had to write today, and I knew it wouldn’t take me long once I got started, but it was getting more and more difficult to find some time to write. I was thinking of all these excellent things to say while I was running, so the first thing I did when I got home from my run was to finish a draft of that essay. 

        The run was good too. I went over to drop off my daughter’s swimsuit at daycare. She is going to be so happy to do some water play today. It was tempting to buy her one of those pools yesterday, so she could play in the water in the backyard. 

        She was happy to get her water shoes and swimsuit. Next, I ran over to the pond and saw a turtle today! I knew there were turtles, but I haven’t seen them in a long time. The pond looked so green. What makes the water look green? I wonder.
