Day 4,062 —3 Runs until the Huron 100: Reading in the Bath—
For the past two weeks, I have tapered down my running so I can have my best showing at the run on Saturday. I haven’t had any caffeine for almost a week now, and I have stopped getting headaches during the day, but I am still waking up groggy. I have been having dreams featuring people I don’t know which always seems odd to me. Last night, I remember getting into a play fight with a much bigger person.
I tried to keep this run light and easy, but I still broke a sweat surprisingly, and noticed that Starbuck's is getting ever nearer to completion. On the same run, I noticed a tree down that had been unmoved for two weeks and a sign that had been knocked over for a long time.
One thing I have been doing a lot at every opportunity is reading while taking a salt bath. I think I took three baths yesterday, and today after my run I read and soaked for a while. I am about to take my daughter to the Botanical Gardens, but it was a great way to start my day.
