Day 4,073—Today and Hooray the Huron 100 Complete Edition and Race Video—
It wasn’t raining, but everything was wet, but that didn’t deter a lot of people from being out on the trail and on Grant’s Trail! There was even a group of children dressed up for a martial arts class. I wondered why they decided to have class in the parking lot today. Or maybe they were doing some type of demonstration? Please watch the video, read the full race report, which includes the last part that talks about my recovery, and tell me what you think!
I published the video on YouTube this morning finished the race report and posted it on my blog. After that, I went for a run.

I hadn’t been feeling especially amazing, but today I needed to return something to the library, and I wanted to run some on Grant’s Trail. I brought my vest this time and carried water. I was thinking how happy I was to finish the race report and video within a week of the race. I feel like it is so easy to lose momentum and forgetting things. Also, I have already started to think about the next race and have started to forget specifics from this race. Not necessarily a bad thing in general, but it makes writing and making the video a lot more difficult to do because I will be sitting there wondering if the story I am telling goes specifically with this part of the race, or did it happen earlier, or later? Sometimes I don’t know for sure.
