Day 3178 —Back to Work— with STAIRCASES and red RIBBON

This year, I will make a conscious effort to run part of my route without listening to anything. I usually listen to audiobooks and podcasts while running, but I've recently gotten into the habit of listening more than not listening. I want to take a step back and spend some time in silence. The past two days, I ran without listening to anything and it felt good. I noticed things about my posture, breathing, and stride that I needed to correct, and it refreshed my morning. While running, I use that time to think about a variety of things, but I also typically focus on how to improve my running. Today, I focused on getting back to a forever pace. I'm getting there, but I'm not quite there yet.
