Day 3182 —Testing the Etrex 22x— with a TINY WATERFALL

The Etrex has an auto start function, so it recorded my route as I ran. After a while, I checked the map to see how easy it was to see my running path. The map had more detail than the one on my watch, but it still lacked the detail of a phone map. I ran over the train tracks and on the dirt path. I ran on as many trails as possible, thinking about the race next week. I need to repair a lot and cross training feels great. I also did other workouts and stretched a lot. I want to focus on stretching even more, but I feel confident about the race.

One thing that didn't go as planned yesterday was forgetting my running shoes, so I did the VO2 test in my flat sneakers. It didn't bother me much. If I ran more, it would be an issue, but for that short distance, I knew it wouldn't make much difference.
