Day 3183 —Five Runs until the Shippey! — with an intricate PILE of mostly metal THINGS

I tried using my Etrex to navigate my route from yesterday, but it didn't notify me when I went off course. I'll see if I can change a setting to help me stay on track. Today is probably colder than it will be during the race. Saturday morning is predicted to be the coldest, but the weather could still change. I'm surprised the weather is looking nice, considering how much I prepared for cold weather. The Fall Creek was probably about 20 degrees colder. I have a busy week of work ahead of me, but I'm excited for the race. I didn't realize when I signed up that I have Monday off for the holiday. My wife is making potato soup for me to have before the race, and it's great that I don't have to travel on Friday. I don't plan on doing much more than 3-2 miles leading up to the race, and a mile or more on Friday.
