Day 3,377—With my Vest Again—

I didn’t end up using my vest at all on the race on Saturday, but I froze water in both of my reservoirs and tested out one today. It didn’t fit in the proper spot in my vest. I wonder if it will fit with water. It is wider than the other ones I have used and holds more water, but I am not above buying a new vest if I need one. The vest I have has served me well, but I have had it for about 4 years now.

         I didn’t have as much time today, but enough to do some hills and work up a sweat. At one point, a dog ran past me, turned around, and barked at me. He was a nice dog, and his owner was there calling him home, but it was odd that the dog decided to run past me and turn around. Once I faced him, he calmed down immediately. I always worry about the dogs, who seem anxious around me. It is rare that I meet them but their behavior makes me worry about their home life.
