Day 3,379—Hi Swan, where is your friend? —

I think this is a swan. It is so big. I have been confused before about a similar-looking bird. I saw her first across the pond, so I climbed over the stone wall to start taking pictures. I made some bird sounds to see if she would come closer, and she immediately started swimming directly toward me. 

        Honestly, I got a little scared and jumped back over the wall. Do swans attack you?  

        I watched her clean her feathers and do some fishing for a while, and it was so peaceful to just see the swan out in the wild enjoying herself. I love interacting with animals in the wild! It makes me feel somehow connected when I just happen to run into an animal during my run, enjoying the day, just like me.
