Day 4,235—I Love Yellow—
While gazing wistfully at the different colored leaves, I decide that yellow is my favorite. My boss last year assumed that blue was my favorite color, which it has never been. My daughter and wife believe red is my favorite color, which I understand because I wear a lot of red, but it is also not my favorite color. The picture of the yellow leaves is down the street from my house. I am jealous of those trees. I own some excellent trees. One that I had to mostly cut down recently, which made me realize how much trees are a luxury. The two trees in front of my house must be close to 100 years old.
I went on another 10-mile run today, like yesterday. First, I worked on my project for school, which is due on Tuesday. I got most of it done, which was a relief because it seemed like, despite making progress over the last couple of weeks, I still felt like nothing was getting done. Now, it is almost done, and I don’t dislike it. I still have some time to revise, but I am in a good spot. After I realized I would complete it, I remembered that I was off all next week and could finally relax and be happy that I was off. I saw that same deer again when I was running but this time I saw a female deer a couple of 100 feet from him. I wonder if he feels stuck there. One time I saw a deer that could have been him trying to get out but I know they can get out if they want to. There are spots that they jump and the gate is open most of the day.
