Day 2,761 —Two Runs Left: Testing Things Out— with my PICTURE of a PENN COACH TENNIS BALL

I felt like I was holding my breath as I ran. My body starting to anticipate the race has gone into high alert. I felt sluggish yet delicate, not like a ballet dancer, but more like an expensive dish that I don’t want to break.

I went shopping yesterday buying some things to test out before the run. I have not had much luck with running specific nutrition, but I found these Muir Energy goops that looked promising. I have never liked goops in general, but I thought this might be worth trying. It had simple ingredients and said it was vegan. I also bought some hydration tablets, so I do not have to be as dependent on my pills. I bought new shoes too.

It feels weird on a short running drinking a flavored water and trying this goop, but that is what I did this morning. I like the nuun tablets. They aren’t too sweet and easy enough to manage. The Muir goop taste sour and greasy. I don’t know if I got the wrong flavor, strawberry, or I am just not a goop person, but I will not be using this over the weekend. My new shoes were plus. They feel a little snug but light and supportive.

Happy Wednesday!
