Day 2,781 —Happy Birthday Mom! Stop and See the Rainbow — with my PICTURE of a BUMBLEBEE

Growing up if my mom was driving me somewhere and she saw a rainbow, she would stop the car, so we could all look. When I was younger, I am sure I loved the rainbows, but as I got older (a teenager) I became more resentful to her reminders to be present and appreciate what is around me. It just came off a little silly to be so excited to see rainbows, but now I think about how wrong I was. What is life if you cannot stop to look and take in a rainbow after the storm?

Everyone always wants to point out the storm and how scary it is, but when it is over, we rarely take the time to start looking for a rainbow. Yet, my mom always did.
