Day 2,908 —Running in the Rain— with a PICTURE of My SHADOW #693
I open the door and see that it is raining, so I go back inside and put on a jacket. For a moment I felt like complaining about the timing of the rain, and when I started running, I thought about it for about thirty seconds more. Yet, most of the time I thought about work and writing this, and isn’t it lovely to see the trees start blooming?
My daughter yesterday was running up to random plants exclaiming to me, so amazed that things look different, and when I think about it—why shouldn’t she be excited to see things growing?
I want to enjoy the start of this spring season recklessly like a soon to be three-year-old.
