Day 2,911 —Mostly the Same— with a PICTURE of a STATUE OF A SAINT #696

Going over to my parents today to celebrate my dad’s birthday. He asked me yesterday what kind of vegan pizza I would want. He knows how much my daughter loves vegan pizza. She calls it, “P.” And apparently has been eating it for breakfast when she goes over there on Fridays. I am kind of seen as the food police, so I only learned this recently, but in fairness the pizza is vegan and not a super processed one, so I told them it was okay.

Yesterday she was asking for bagels from my wife, so she confronted her and asked our daughter, “Do you eat Pizza for breakfast over at your grandparents?” And she stopped asking for the bagel.

It is amazing how much kids understand. My daughter has acted so silly recently, constantly doing little comedy bits and laughing at her own jokes. She thinks it is so funny to walk silly and make faces and put on my hat and glasses and run away from me.

She loves being herself so much. She loves life completely. I hope she never changes.
