Day 3237 —Dialogue with my Daughter—
“Vivian, you need to sleep in the center of the bed," I say.
"But I don't want to," she replies, holding onto my arm.
"It's already 3:30, and I have to get up soon. I don't want to wake you up when I do."
"But I don't want to, dada."
I got up late and started my run later than planned. When I finally got going, I sprinted for almost half a mile until I hit traffic and had to slow down. It was an excellent way to start the day.
