Day 3261 —my Luck Turning —

Up early to run with Joel this morning, but some flooding in my basement led to a late night and an early morning of cleaning up excess water. I opted to wait to use the bathroom, but then had to go during the first few miles of the run. However, when I had to use the bathroom a second time, I just so happened to meet the park ranger who was about to open it. Joel was great to run with and it was nice to check out a different route and run some of the Riverway. I wonder where this part of the Riverway goes? I don't like doing out-and-backs, but it's cool that there is so much trail heading this way. However, being at least six miles from my house makes it a little more difficult to figure out a good loop. But it was a good run, and I'm glad I got to see the river, which wasn't as high as people seemed to be suggesting. It has been so low recently. This level seemed pretty normal.
