Day 3,936 —Lake of the Ozarks—
It isn’t my favorite place in the world, but I am going there for a conference next week, and the main positive I can think about is running in a different location for a couple of days.
This morning, it looked like there was less snow on the sidewalks, and I saw more people out for walks and runs.
All I can think is that if you’re going to run the Greater St. Louis Marathon in the Spring, you have to start training now.
I don’t know how accessible the lakefront will be from where we’re staying, but remembering what it was when I was there with my brother before his wedding, it will be dangerous on the roads, and I will have to trespass through all the religious cult-like camps that surround the lake. One would think that a decent trail would exist among the hills and trees, but that’s not the case.
