Day 3,946 —Anti-Christian Bias?! Aren’t almost all Elected officials Christians? What’s happening?!—

 

It is certainly a new level of insanity that we have the majority religious group in America claiming bias and prejudice?! I cannot say it is surprising because I was brought up believing that “Prayer was taken out of school.” Never mind the factual history that Christians were forcing every other religion to pray to their god for a grade at school, for a grade?! This is an example of religious persecution that is becoming more and more prevalent as religious groups align themselves with the Trump agenda, which is sending the message that every one that isn’t a white Christian doesn't belong in this country.

I shouldn’t be surprised because I grew up in a conservative Christian community that regularly brainwashed me to believe that Christians were being persecuted?! Let me be clear, white Christians are dominating every branch of this country, from judges to senators, to members of Congress, almost everyone is Christian! So how is it possible that the majority is being persecuted? Oh, that’s right, they’re not. Instead, this legislation emboldens Christians to persecute other groups, like they have been doing in this country for hundreds of years.

I am glad I got my run in today, but thinking about what’s happening in this country has made me beyond disappointed. This is only one of so many problematic things that happened today. And all of these racist, xenophobic, antisemitic, acts have been endorsed by the local Christian leaders all over this country.
