Day 3,965 —Didn’t Need a Hat—

I like that I am just going out each day, not sure which way I am going to go. I decided I wanted to run all of Edgar and then ended up running back on Laclede. It is always good to run by the train tracks, and today I went down and took a picture under one of the bridges that I cross a lot. I always wonder why I don’t see anyone sleeping under the bridges. If I ended up houseless, I got a lot of good spots picked out in my mind, but maybe that’s where the cops go and tell people to leave.

I have never been there at night before. I am finally feeling like I can run again, so I cannot wait to get a real long run this weekend. Not sure what I will be able to do, but I am thinking I should try for at least 50K this weekend. I have a 24-hour race I am doing on 3.14, so that is only two weeks from Friday, I have to remember I cannot do too much the weekend after that, but I am motivated and looking forward to seeing what I can run in 24 hours. I have never done a 24-hour race before, so we will see how it goes.

My class ended at 10 p.m. last night, which made a huge difference because that meant I was able to be asleep by 11 and awake at my usual time this morning. Of course, my cats would have preferred that I got up even earlier, but I am just happy to be back in my routine and making it through this week.
