Day 4,035 —Deer on the Tracks II—

The sky was pink this morning. I was so glad I made it out in time to see the end of the sunrise. There was only one spot to go to where I would get a better view, and that was the train tracks, so I headed that way.

I saw a herd of deer  crossing over the tracks this morning. I got out my phone to take a picture, and you can see them if you squint, but they’re pretty far away. I was thinking about why it had been so hard to get up on time this week. I did at least go to bed on time last night, and I hit snooze a few times on my alarm and didn’t get up until 5 a.m. Part of me thought about what it would be like to just not go to work at all today. Who needs it?

Sure, I have things to do, but isn’t that always the case? I finally got most things done, and the class I was taking ended yesterday! I was so worried about grades being posted, but the only points I missed were for attendance because I missed one class.

The positive comments on my papers and projects. I still haven’t read it yet. My only feeling about the work is that I think it could have been better, but I did get a lot out of doing it. Part of me thinks writing papers at this point has become almost second nature that I forget half the things I write, but I can still immediately become insecure about my writing whenever I start a new essay or report. However, at least it doesn’t take me as long to do it anymore.
