Day 4,047 —a Disconcerting End of the School Year—

There wasn’t any power in my building last week, so I didn’t know if I would be able to work from my office, or I would have to work downtown. It was cloudy, dark, windy, and I was holding my phone, but I decided to start running anyway.

I had been putting off starting my run for so long. I was playing the Indian Jones video game, which originally I loved, but now I just wanted to finish it. This morning it was a nice distraction because I didn’t know what I would do if I had to work from the central office, so I put off starting my run until 6 a.m.

I felt rain drops immediately after I started, so I circled back to my house, so I could put my phone in a sandwich bag if needed, but the clouds diminished and the sky got more blue. I found I liked the 1ish mile loop I was doing. So far not a lot of cars have been cutting through the Storage Space lot. I was thinking about why I ended up liking short loops sometimes. It has been a while, but it is a nice break from having to think about where I am going.
