Day 4,042 — Cascading Colossal Clouds—
The clouds were so low this morning, and the moon looked full. I took a quick picture, but I knew there was little chance that it would capture the majesty of it all. My ankle almost felt 100 percent today, so whatever I have been doing has been working, so that is good. At the same time, I noticed it more when I was running than I did yesterday, probably because I was expecting a bigger change, but alas, it is still bothering me some.
I was thinking about my two races coming up, and I don’t know what the logistics will be for the Huron 100 yet, but I am confident I can figure it out. My daughter has loved the new tent that I bought, and I like it too. It took less than 10 minutes to put up, and it has a classical tent look. I was going to take it down, but she has been playing it every day since I put it up. Yesterday, she told me she wanted to paint it.
I am meeting a writer who is studying streak running later today. I am looking forward to it. I am not exactly sure what his book will be about, but I like that he wanted to run while he interviews me so that I will get another run in. It will be fun to just talk in general about my streak running and how it has affected me. I don’t know if I will end up being included in his book or not, but I think this will be an interesting opportunity to see how someone does interviews for research for a book they’re writing.
