Day 4,037 —Insecure People Cannot Celebrate the Success of Others—
I ran on the train tracks to get a better look at the sun, which was slowly getting brighter. When I was about to turn left and head back across Watson, I saw two turkeys hanging out in the graveyard.
I had just talked to someone at work about how I had seen turkeys fly. They all get in line and sprint and jump and land about a few hundred feet away. I had never seen anything like it before. I figured I might be able to see these turkeys fly too and get a good picture. I ran towards them, and they ran away, and I saw a bigger group of them. There were also deer running around. I always wonder why the deer spend so much time crossing over Watson and why they don’t stay in the cemetery.
I didn’t get a good picture of the turkeys or deer, but I liked this one I got of the sunrise’s reflection on the creek.
I am still wearing my 20-pound vest today, and I was thinking that tomorrow I would attempt my longest run ever while wearing it. It is nice because it cuts down on how much time it takes to make me feel like I got a workout in.
