Day 4,058 —Race Logistics for the Huron 100—

Last night I had my class, so now I have more logistics to figure out for the next few weeks. At the same time, I finalized my plans for the Huron 100. I was trying to decide if I wanted to camp or stay in a hotel the night before. I have always wanted to try camping before a race, so I decided to camp! I recently bought a tent and camping stuff, so it shouldn’t be that difficult. Of course, it is always nice to be able to take a shower the night before and sleep in a bed, but I like the idea of simplifying things and not having to interact with more people before the race.
I might end up regretting it, but right now I am looking forward to it. It's a super long drive, so I've decided to rest and sleep during the day before I leave to head home sometime on Sunday night or at the latest on Monday morning.

I stretched for 10 minutes before this run because I have woke up sore and tight every morning this week. I have already taken a few salt baths this week, but I have not noticed a big change so far. I would like to spend a good 4 hours taking a bath one of these days, but I am not sure when I will have a chance. I am looking forward to this race! I haven’t decided yet if I want to do the Shawnee Hill again, but I signed up for the Ozark Trail 100 in October! I have been in a bad mood all week, but I am starting to feel more optimistic about the summer.
