Day 4,170—This is Going to be Short—
I thought I would have more time than I have now to write, but sometime after I took a shower and before I came downstairs to write, I lost a lot of time. I know I finished running around 6:30, so I am not sure where the last 45 minutes went. I was also thinking a lot about how, last year, when I wasn’t on a certain schedule, I somehow wasn’t able to run as much during the week as I have been able to do recently. However, let me write about running.
Are a lot of other runners out today because I started an hour later? No one had headlamps on, which blows my mind that you would go out an hour before sunrise and just hope for the best in regard to safety, but I guess I used to be the same way until I started running at night. I never thought running with a headlamp was a normal thing. I ran over 30 miles Monday through Friday, which is a lot when you consider my average weekday mileage, but when you compare it to my weekend activity, it seems insane how little I manage to do in five days compared to two. The hypocrisy of the right seems insane as they rage about censorship. These are the same people who defended hate speech and pedophiles who now want to argue that being critical of someone’s political views is “disgusting.” Do they have no concept of self-awareness, or are they just followers who cannot think for themselves? These are the same people who defended Alex Jones?
