Day 4,320—a Baby Trail—
Ideally, I wanted to do homework today, but it is not easy to get stuff done with the kids here. We could have taken Felix to daycare, but he was so happy this morning, and he is a handful to watch. He broke a plate earlier. He just decided to throw it as hard as he could against the floor. When I told him I wanted to use my computer, he went upstairs to get his laptop and is now standing next to me, singing along to a song it is playing as he is typing and then periodically asking me, “What are you doing, Dada?”
I started my run in one pair of shoes but quickly turned around to change. The left shoe feels too tight. I have fixed it a few times, but it keeps happening. I hadn’t done this route since the snow was gone, and I saw this baby trail over in the new subdivision by the cemetery. It was at least a tenth of a mile. I stopped to take a picture of some ducks and then saw a group of deer hanging out. I ended this run at the store because I needed to buy some pickles. Sometimes I run with groceries but today I decided to walk. It is beautiful outside. The time went by fast.
